Janice Kay Ritter
Janice Kay (Moist) Ritter, 63, Goshen, loving wife of 45 years, mother and sister, died 2:33 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, after a gallant fight with a long term illness. She was born Sept. 25, 1952 in Goshen to Wallace & Tommie (Perrin) Moist. She married Carl Ritter on June 12, 1970.
She is survived by her devoted husband: Carl Ritter, Goshen; three daughters: Teri (Harvey) Manges, New Paris; Tracy (Todd) Prince, Galena, Ohio; Tobey (Allan) May, Goshen; sister: Janie Tinkey, Goshen; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one foster grandchild.
Janice was preceded in death by a son, Carl Todd Ritter; parents: Wallace and Tommie Moist; sisters: Jean Smith, JoAnn Comer; and a nephew, Bobby Coleman.
She was employed by Johnson Controls for 17 years, GKI for five years and LCI/Continental Stamping for five years until she was placed on permanent disability. Janice was also a member of the Women’s Moose and a lifetime member of the DAV #15, Goshen.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. The family requests that those attending wear jeans and t-shirts. Keep it casual for Jan. Burial will be at Oakridge Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Janice Moist Ritter may be made to the DAV #15, Goshen.
