KCH Partners With 2016 Fat & Skinny Festival

WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital announces it support of the 2016 Fat & Skinny Tire Festival as a premier sponsor. The festival begins at 6 p.m. Friday, May 20 and closes at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 22. The Fat & Skinny Festival is a major annual festival in Kosciusko County with bicycle activities centralized in Winona Lake and downtown Warsaw. Lutheran EMS Kosciusko will be present during the race times should emergency medical care be needed.

The Fat & Skinny Tire Fest is a fun-filled weekend centered around bringing cycling enthusiasts and participants together to share the enjoyment of cycling and the health-related benefits it provides. Furthermore, the aim is to emphasize an attitude on wellness, enjoyment and options available for all ages of cycling enthusiasts in our community. Some of the events this year include; BMX stunt show & Silly Bike Contest in Downtown Warsaw Friday at 7:45 p.m.; Historical Winona Bike Tour at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday; and the Ortho Cup corporate Challenge Cruiser Race starting at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
