State Delegate Election Time
Dear Editor:
Election time is upon us and I’m running for State Delegate in district 2. While most of these candidates have name recognition, let me introduce myself.
My name is Teresa Martin and I live in Silver Lake. We moved our dairy operation here from Goshen in 1997 and then in 2003 my husband was killed in a car accident. My sons still operate the farm, although we have made some changes.
I remarried and now my husband and I have a wooden toy shop. We manufacture toys and also have a small store at our location.
I know what it’s like to face difficulties but yet be one who does what they have promised people. I am an honest, hard working wife, mother and grandmother and love my community. I am active with community projects and love working in our children’s department in our church.
A state delegate is a voting member of the Republican State Convention. This year they will elect the Attorney General for Indiana which will become the nominee for the November election. A delegate also votes on the GOP platform and then goes to the Republican Convention to do the final voting there, this year held in Cleveland, Ohio.
I ask that you vote for me, a grandmother who wants to make this state and country a better place for my grandkids and your families too.
If you’d like to know more about me or have questions, email me at [email protected] and I’d be happy to discuss more with you.
Teresa Martin
