Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:28 a.m. Sunday, March 27, South CR 400E south of East CR 500S, Warsaw. Driver: William J. Lechlitner, 46, East Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
4:11 p.m. Friday, March 25, West SR 14 and South CR 925W, Warsaw. Drivers: Shirley M. Woodling, 38, North CR 1075E, Akron, and Julia A. Haney, 78, 10910 S. CR 925W, Akron. Woodling’s vehicle rear-ended Haney’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
4:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 102 W. Main St., Silver Lake. Drivers: Rebecca A. Ballard, 38, West CR 700S, Claypoool, and Heather L. Myers, 40, North Main Street, Syracuse. Ballard backed her vehicle and it collided with Myers’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:58 p.m. Saturday, March 26, West US 30 west of Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers; Cody A. Rowe, 25, West Broadway Street, Etna Green, and Maria Rosas, 41, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Rowe’s vehicle crossed in front of Rosas’s vehicle and they collided. Rowe’s vehicle hit a traffic signal support signal. Rosas’s vehicle hit traffic control transformer box. A one-way sign post was also damaged. Rowe was transported to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, with injuries to his entire body. A passenger in Rowe’s vehicle was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital with injuries to his entire body. Rosas was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a voluntary blood draw. Damage up to $50,000.
4:25 p.m. Saturday, March 26, Lake City Highway and Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Keelia M. Young, 25, West CR 400S, North Judson, and Miranda S. Haniford, 20, Englewood Avenue, Durham, N.C. Young’s and Haniford’s vehicles sideswiped each other in the turning lanes. Damage up to $5,000.
2:53 p.m. Saturday, March 26, Ranch Road and Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Christopher Courtois, 24, Latta Street, Warsaw, and Jaime M. Arriaga, 44, South Washington Street, Warsaw. Courtois became distracted at the stop sign and his vehicle rear-ended Arriaga’s. Damage up to $2,500.
