Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
4:25 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, West CR 1350N and North CR 500W, Nappanee. Driver: Wendell J. Miller, 19, North CR750W, Nappanee. Miller suffered lacerations to the head, legs, hand and arms and was taken to IU Health Goshen. Miller was eastbound on CR 1350N when came upon a disabled vehicle in the roadway without lights in the foggy conditions. He served to miss the vehicle, loosing control causing his vehicle to roll several times, coming to rest in a corn field. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, West Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Deborah L. Rosbrugh, 54, West CR 200S, Warsaw, and Donnie Jackson, 56, South Woodland Lane, Warsaw. Rosbrugh backed her vehicle from a parking space, failing to see the Jackson vehicle traveling through the parking lot. Damage up to $5,000.
4:56 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, Lake City Highway, east of Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark A. Finken, 50, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw, and Mitchell R. Myers, 26, North County Line Road, Huntertown. Finken merged his vehicle with the eastbound traffic of Lake City Highway, in front of a semitractor and as he switched lanes he struck the Myers vehicle, which was on the other side of the semitractor. Damage up to $2,500.
11:10 a.m Tuesday March 15, North Lincoln Street, south of East Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: Alfred Dirico, 53, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. As he was passing Lincoln Elementary a vehicle, that was stopped near the sidewalk merged into the lane hitting his vehicle. The other driver then left the area. Damage up to $1,000.
