WARSAW — A Bremen man has been arrested after stalking a victim in violation of a protective order.

Police issued a protective order Nov. 25, 2015, to Jason Wayne Craig, 48, 3102 Sea Lane, Bremen. Craig was also convicted of domestic battery, a level 6 felony.

On Nov. 28, 2015, officers with the Warsaw Police Department received a call from a victim stating Craig had violated his protective order and sent her numerous, intimidating text messages and six telephone calls, also from Craig. In February, police again spoke with the victim, who presented her phone and showed them 775 intimidating or argumentative text messages from Craig.

On Feb. 27, the victim told officers she had received two phone calls from Craig, which she did not answer, plus three additional threatening text messages.

Officers arrested Craig Wednesday, March 9, and booked him in the Kosciusko County Jail on bond for $11,000 surety and cash.
