Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:50 a.m. Thursday, March 3, West Main Street, west of North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Mystique G. Coy, 19, North Huntington Street, Syracuse, and Cassandra A. Vu, 33, North Main Street, Syracuse. Coy’s vehicle slid while making a turn, hitting the Vu vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
7:41 a.m. Thursday, March 3, North Huntington Street and West Pearl Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Kristi R. Culp, 33, Walnut Street, New Paris, and Anastasia R. Bartman, 29, Syra-Web Road, Syracuse. Culp’s vehicle struck the back of the Bartman vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:34 p.m. Thursday, March 3, Lake City Highway, east of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Darl D. Drudge, 54, Reider Street Warsaw, operating a snow plow owned by the Department of Administration, Indianapolis. Drudge was westbound when he crested the hill on the bridge and the state snow plow began sliding. The vehicle slid across both lanes of travel as he tried to keep the vehicle on the roadway, eventually hitting the guard rail, going through the guard rail and striking a sign pole for the overhead highway sign. Damage up to $25,000.
7:02 p.m. Thursday, March 3, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Carrie E. Hughes, 41, North CR 700E, Leesburg. Hughes was attempting to back out of a parking space when she struck a parked vehicle registered to Lindsey A. Grossnickle, EMS T7 Lane, Leesburg. Damage up to $2,500.
5:04 p.m. Thursday, March 3, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lizabeth N. Robles, 17, East CR 200N, Warsaw, and Scott D. Reed, 45, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Robles began backing her vehicle several times and did not see the Reed vehicle behind her. Damage up to $2,500.
