WARSAW — On Saturday, Feb. 27, a team of Warsaw Community Schools fifth grade students competed in the National History Day Regional Competition at St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame.

The team’s group performance on the topic of the Alamo eared a fist place finish and qualified them for the state competition in Indianapolis on April 23.

Team members are Elijah Zaugg, Keller Bailey, Ryun Hoffert, Geoffrey Hochstetler, Jason Benyousky.

Nancy and Dick Rooker are serving as the sponsors/coaches of the team.
