BALTIMORE — Most shelter dogs don’t get a lot of love and attention. But it’s hard to remember that after witnessing the love a puppy named Meesha received this week, documented on camera and now going viral on Facebook.
After undergoing surgery at BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore, the puppy was coming off anesthesia and “a little scared because her body felt so weird,” causing her to panic and whimper, the shelter said in a Facebook post.
Luckily, the rescue center has surgical assistant Dennis Moses on staff, a kindhearted fellow who decided to take matters into his own hands and soothe the poor pup.
“One of our awesome volunteers just happened to be walking by to capture this sweet moment,” the shelter said in the post, which included a video of the heartwarming moment.
