Warning Level Advisory Lifted In Marshall County
MARSHALL COUNTY — The Marshall County Board of Commissioners has determined weather and road conditions have improved enough to lift the “Warning Level” Travel Advisory emergency declaration that has been in place since 3:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 25.
An “Advisory” Level Travel Advisory will remain in place. An “Advisory” Level Travel Advisory is the lowest level of the local advisory system and means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Roads remain wet and slick in spots.
The commissioners would like to remind everyone to follow good safety practices when driving in the winter by always wearing your seat belt, reducing your speed, increase your following distance and avoiding distractions like texting or talking on a cell phone
