NAPPANEE — Upcoming programs and events at the Nappanee Public Library will include:
Book Bracket Challenge
March Madness isn’t just a basketball sensation. Stop in at the library and help determine the champion in this year’s book bracket challenge. Each day in March, two opposing picture books will go head to head in a fight to the top of 32 challengers. Read the books at the Kids’ Desk, vote for your favorite and watch the giant bracket fill up throughout the month until the ultimate title comes out as Top Read.
Teen Tuesday Bookmark Workshop
Teens are invited to sign up for a fun bookmark workshop at the next teen Tuesday program at the library. Meet in The Cube, the Library’s Makerspace, from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, to make some cool bookmarks with comic book pages, googly eyes and more. Dr. Seuss Story Time
Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with two special story times at the library on Wednesday, March 2. Come in for stories, games, crafts and snacks inspired by the Lorax. Cake Decorating Class
Take your birthday parties and special events to the next level with a new hands-on class in The Cube, the Nappanee Library’s makerspace. Tina Erwin will instruct a class on basic cake decorating from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3. Teens and adults will get a supply kit with a pastry tube set, rose nail, spatula and cake pan for just $10.
