KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — NIPSCO Manager Christopher Pieri is pictured presenting a check for $18,078.22 to Cardinal Services’ Director of Development, Vickie Lootens and CEO, Jane Wear.
The award was made through NIPSCO’s Commercial and Industrial Custom Natural Gas & Electric Incentive Program. Through the program, NIPSCO offers partial reimbursement grants for the cost of updating qualifying gas and electric systems to more efficient, cost-effective ones.
In September of last year, lighting at Cardinal Services, including the CCI Manufacturing plant, was updated to energy efficient LED lighting. According to Wear, Cardinal is already seeing the resulting cost savings.
