Steven R. Reisinger
Steven R. Reisinger, 66, Claypool, passed away at 3:42 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at his residence. He was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Fort Wayne, to Leonard and Donna (Cline) Reisinger. He had lived in Claypool for the last nine years.
He was the former owner of Corvette Nationals, owner of Horsepower Marketing and had been a marketing manager and used car manager at several Chevrolet Dealerships. Since 2006 he was a member of the Indiana Patriot Guard where he served as a Ride Captain. He was most proud of standing on the Flag Line.
He is survived by his wife: Gerri Lee, Claypool; children: Kerri Smothermon, Fort Wayne; Nick (Theresa) Reisinger, Fishers; Christy Reisinger, Westfield; Jamie Pettygrove, Fishers; and Rebecca (Matthew) Swafford, Claypool. He is also survived by a sister: Susie (Dave) Buckles, FOrt Wayne; his mother: Donna Reisinger, Fort Wayne; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Lizzie Lora; a brother: Rollie Reisinger; and his father: Leonard Reisinger.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Pat Brase officiating. Visitation will be at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, and one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be private.
