Sheryl Ann Gaff, 59, a lifelong Richland Township, Whitley County resident, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 27, 2016, at her home.

She was born July 7, 1956, in Columbia City, the only child of Joseph Charles and Betty A. (Goldwood) Simon. She graduated from Whitko High School in 1974. On November 23, 1974 she was united in marriage to Dennis C. Gaff. In 1976 they moved to their present home north of Larwill.

Surviving relatives include her husband: Dennis; two sons: Aaron (Hidi) Gaff, Fort Wayne; and Tim (Brandy) Gaff, Pierceton; 12 grandchildren: Gabriel; Anthony; Ethan Gaff; Jakob; Aneka; Eliot; Aurelia Moore; Ember and Judah Gaff; Kaylee Zoey; and Allyson Gaff; and her mother: Betty Simon, Larwill. Her father preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. The visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home.
