Warsaw Man Purchases Items On Stolen Credit Cards
WARSAW — Levi Langley Hall, 18, 326 N. Lake St., Warsaw, was arrested Sunday afternoon, Jan. 10, on two counts of fraud, level 6 felonies. Warsaw Police filed documents Thursday, Jan. 7, in Kosciusko Superior Court I, following an investigation of a stolen wallet on Dec. 16. The owner of the wallet reported she had discovered her wallet, with credit cards, missing from her vehicle. She also reported the theft to the financial institution. Officials with the financial institution reported several charges had already been made on her account and a list would be provided.
The list showed four fraudulent charges made Dec. 16. The charges, totaling over $130, were for a water bong, hats, food, butane and a grinder. Surveillance videos at the three businesses were reviewed by police and officials at those businesses identified Hall as the person making the fraudulent charges.
Police spoke with Hall on Dec. 22, at which time he admitted the credit card was not his and he should not have used it to make the fraudulent purchases.
He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,000 surety and a $250 cash bond.
