MENTONE — The following activities are set to take place at the Bell Memorial Public Library, Mentone:
Make a Recipe Potholder
Make a recipe potholder. Pick your favorite family recipe, put it on fabric and sew it as a potholder. We will have several fabric options to choose from. Cost for this program is $3. You must sign up and bring in your recipe by Monday, Jan. 18 so we can print it on a special heat transfer paper. We have 11 small sewing machines available to use or you can bring your own. Time and date for this program is 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21.
Our Kids’ Programs
Boy’s and Girl’s Night will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. This program is for kids age 7 to 13. Join us for a night filled with crafts, cooking and other fun stuff.
Our children’s story times are held at 3 p.m. every Wednesday. Our kid’s Lego club is at 1 p.m. the third Saturday of the month.
For Teens
For Teens: We are changing our teen gaming night. It is moving to 5-8 p.m. the last Friday of the month and is for teens ages 13 and up only. Bring a friend for some gaming fun.
Our teen Anime movie night is moving to 5-8 p.m. the third Friday of the month and is for teens 13 and up only.
For Adults
Adult Movie Matinee is at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18. We will be viewing the movie, “90 Minutes in Heaven,” a movie based on a true account about Don Piper who was declared dead after a traffic accident. Refreshments will be provided.
Zumba for beginners at Bell Library: Starting in January Eva will be doing a new class for beginners held at 7 p.m. every Monday. Why not start your New Year’s Resolution with some Latin dancing fun. For more info follow Eva’s Zumba and hip hop classes on Facebook.
Euchre at Bell Library is at 6 p.m. the fourth Monday of the month. The next one is Monday, Jan. 25. Coffee will be provided but please bring your own snacks and drinks. There will be prizes for the highest score, the most loners and a booby prize. Come join the fun.
