Woman Wanted By FBI In String Of Southern Jewelry Store Heists
The FBI, state and local law enforcement agencies are looking for a woman in connection with jewelry store robberies in multiple states with a man whom they believe is working with her.
Jewelry stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina have been robbed by the woman, authorities said.

In the most recent robbery on Monday morning, the woman went into a Jared Vault in Mebane, North Carolina, and forced two employees into a back room at gunpoint, authorities said. She zip-tied the employees’ hands before going to the front of the store and stealing items from display cases and putting them into a shopping bag, according to authorities.
The other jewelry store robberies that the FBI suspects were robbed by the same woman are:
— Jared Vault in Sevierville, Tennessee, on Oct. 16, 2015
— Jared Jewelry in Bluffton, South Carolina, on Sept. 2, 2015
— Reeds Jewelers in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Aug. 11, 2015
— Zales Jewelry in Dawsonville, Georgia, on Aug. 5, 2015
— Jared Jewelry in Woodstock, Georgia, on April 29, 2015.
A man was also seen on surveillance video during the robberies in Panama City, Florida, and Woodstock and Dawsonville, Georgia.
The FBI release said the man and woman appear to use multiple vehicles during the robberies.
Both the man and woman are considered armed and dangerous by the FBI.
