Don’t Forget Tornado Sirens Test Tuesday
WARSAW — Don’t forget the required test of the city’s three tornado sirens at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29.
The test is due to the recent installation of a new siren at Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Station 2, 2204 E. Center Street, and repair of the siren at Station 1, 109 E. Main St. The siren on the west end of Warsaw will be included in the test.
Fire Chief Michael Wilson states the Kosciusko County Central Dispatch will initiate the activation of the tornado sirens at that time for one test.
The public is being asked to understand this is required to make sure all of the emergency warning system is correct and working properly prior to the severe weather.
