Auditions Set For ‘Christ’s Passion’
SYRACUSE — Come be a part of the “Greatest Story Ever Told” in the Easter story of “Christ’s Passion” play for 2016. Auditions are being held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3 and from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Jan. 4 and Jan. 11. Rehearsals will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday evenings beginning on Jan. 4.
Come experience being in the streets of Jerusalem over 2,000 years ago when the young rabbi, Jesus, came for the Passover celebration. Parts available are disciples (men and women), Roman soldiers, Pharisees, townspeople, merchants and angels. All who come will be part of the cast. There are also openings in the technical crew: Sound, lighting, back stage, set building, set dressing, costumes and makeup.
All rehearsals and performances will be held in the Activities Center at Quaker Haven Camp on Dewart Lake south of Syracuse at the crossroads of CR 900N and CR 500E. Performances will be held March 18, 19, 20, 25, and 26.
Ticket prices are $7 advance purchase for general admission; $10 advance purchase for Gold Circle Seating; $10 general admission at the door. Tickets may be purchased by phoning Quaker Haven Camp at (574) 834-4193.
