KGP Logistics Expanding, Adding 140 Jobs in Warsaw
WARSAW — KGP Logistics is as a woman-owned business offering a unique combination of supply chain, distribution and integrated services to the telecommunications industry. The company’s Warsaw facilities, which have been in operation since its acquisition of EMBARQ Logistics in 2009, will open its second location in January 2016, in the former PolyOne building on SR 15 N.
This added facility will accommodate an increase in production the company has planned for its in-factory fiber optic cable splicing work, as a result of several new contracts the company acquired in 2015. With this increased production KGP will offer 75 new assembly jobs across two shifts, with expected growth to 140 employees by 2017.
“We are excited about this expansion of a company in the critical field of high technology telecommunications,” noted George Robertson, President of Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation.
Employees receive valuable training on how to splice and test fiber optic communication cables, in an industry that continues to grow as the need for more bandwidth increases. KGP’s innovative work week schedule consists of four 10-hour days with competitive wages, anoutstanding working environment and incentive pay opportunities — just some of the examples of KGP’s commitment to its employees.
Company management looks forward to this opportunity of growth in the Warsaw community. David Russell, manager of fiber optics states “We couldn’t be more excited as KGP Logistics expands operations in Warsaw. We consider each person as a valued member of our team, not just a number.”
Employees will be brought on board through Staffmark and Express Employment Professionals, with consideration for direct hire after six months of employment, if production and attendance expectations are met. KGP maintains a welcoming environment for its employees, with work that is challenging and unique. Persons interested in this employment opportunity should contact Staffmark or Express Employment Services.
