WARSAW — The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club is bringing a jolly attraction to the area this weekend.
Saint Nicholas will be flying into Warsaw Friday evening to celebrate December’s First Friday from 5-9 p.m. If you are unable to attend First Friday don’t worry. Santa will greet boys and girls on Fridays and Saturdays throughout December at Central Park in Warsaw, where his house will be relocating to following Friday’s festivities.
Guests are welcome to stop for a complimentary photo and candy cane with Santa on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December. Beginning Dec. 12, Santa will be making his list and checking it twice in Center Lake Park from 6-8 p.m. on Fridays; 4-6 p.m. on Saturdays; and 2-4 p.m. on Sundays.
According to Andrew O’Connell of The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, though the Optimists will happily accept donations from the public, nothing is required to have a moment captured on camera with Santa.
“The Optimists are the friend of youth in this community.” noted O’Connel. “We have many programs to support Kosciusko County youth and look forward to offering this opportunity to local families.”
