Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2:41 p.m. Syracuse-Webster Road, north of CR 1050N, North Webster. Drivers: Harold J. Hymer, 56, East CR 1050N, Syracuse, and Ronald D. Krill, 41, East Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Krill reported his 2005 Ford Mustang was struck by Hymer’s 2001 GMC Jimmy, then left the scene. While Krill was following Hymer, Hymer stopped and backed into his vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake. Drivers: Joseph M. Wood, 37, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, and Ruth A. Guffey, 59, East Washington Road, Pierceton. Wood was backing from a parking spot and failed to see the Guffey vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, North Detroit Street, north of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard D. Hossinger, 29, South Washington Road, Columbia City and Steffanie A. Holbrook, 40, Holden Drive, Fort Wayne. Hossinger’s vehicle struck the back of the Holbrook vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
6:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, Deerfield Path, north of Doe, Warsaw. Driver: James F. Sarasien, 30, Deerfield Path, Warsaw. Sarasien was backing from his drive, did not cut his turn in time and struck a parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
7:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, North Broadway Street, north of West Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: Aaron D. Bakian, 26, East State Street, Etna Green. Bakian’s vehicle struck a 2008 Pontiac Grand Am parked on Broadway, and left the scene. A witness advised she heard a collision went outside and observed a white truck driving away from the scene at a high rate of speed. Bakian was located at his residence and arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. Damage up to $5,000.
