UPDATE: Accident At SR 13 And CR 850N
NORTH WEBSTER — A 27-year-old North Webster man was extricated from his vehicle after a one-vehicle accident this morning, Monday, Nov. 30, on SR 13, at CR 850N, north of North Webster. The accident was at 8:31 a.m.
Charles C. Cotton, 27, West Huntington Street, North Webster, was transported to a hospital by Turkey Creek EMS, after members of the Turkey Creek Fire Department freed him from his vehicle. Cotton complained of pain to his neck.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Francis reports Cotton was northbound on SR 13 in a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer, north of CR 850N. Cotton stated the vehicle went off the east side of the road and he attempted to bring the vehicle back onto the roadway.
Cotton then lost control of the vehicle, which proceeded to roll, coming to rest upright, facing the east. The vehicle is registered to Bradford W. Scarbro, West Huntington Street, North Webster.
Damage was estimated up to $5,000.
Francis was assisted at the scene by North Webster Police Chief Greg Church.
