Reindeer, Sleigh Rides Headline Holiday Tradition
SYRACUSE — Hosted by Lakeland Youth Center, Syracuse Parks & Recreation and the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, Holiday Magic is returning once again Saturday, Nov. 21. Featuring favorites like sleigh rides and visits with Santa and his reindeer, Holiday Magic offers fun for the whole family.
The day starts from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakeland Youth Center. There, children will be able to create their own gingerbread house crafts. All supplies will be provided. Cost to for the activity is $3 per house.
Sleigh rides will be occurring at both LYC and the second location of Holiday Magic, Veterans Memorial Park at Crosson Mill. Cost for the sleigh rides is $1 per person or $5 per family.
Holiday Magic moves to Veterans Memorial Park from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. At that location, there will be reindeer, plus free cookies and cocoa.
Live entertainment will also being taking to the stage. The Syracuse Elementary fifth grade choir will perform from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. They will be followed by the Inclognito Cloggers from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The day will conclude with Santa’s arrival via fire truck and the lighting of the town Christmas tree.
