Freebies And Discounts Plentiful On Veterans Day In Fort Wayne
FORT WAYNE — The number of restaurants and other businesses offering discounts or freebies to veterans continues to grow. In 2015, Smokey Bones joins the list of participating restaurants with the offer of a free meal chosen from a Veterans Day menu to service men and women who present their military ID during business hours on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Golden Corral will offer a free dinner buffet and beverage, while also raising donations for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). This year, Ft. Wayne’s Military Appreciation Night will take place at its brand new location: 5335 Distribution Drive.
Texas Roadhouse will once again offer all active, retired or former members of the United States military a free lunch on Nov. 11. There will be a choice of 10 entrees and guests must how proof of service such as a military or VA card or discharge papers.
Granite City Food & Brewery will be offering a complimentary lunch to all Veterans and active military members of the United States Armed Forces. A special Veterans Day menu will be offered from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm and a military ID needs be presented to receive the offer.
Steak ‘n Shake will offer a free breakfast skillet and coffee veterans who show proof of military service and request the Veterans Day Special.
