Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 10:54 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 4500 block South CR 550W, and West 525S, Claypool. Police received a report of an unknown accident and upon arrival police found a 2005 Nissan but no driver was around.
- 8:48 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 3700 block North Barbee Road, Warsaw. Sandra Fitzgerald with Barbee Mini Storage reported the theft of miscellaneous candy and chips from a vending machine.
- 9:14 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 3600 block North Barbee Road, Warsaw. Paul M. Akers reported a burglary to his vehicle.
- 3:36 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 300 block West Section Street, Milford. Lorraine L. Chamberlin reported criminal mischief occurred to a 2007 Ford Mustang and 2002 Ford Explorer.
- 3:57 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2300 block North CR 150W and Executive Drive, Warsaw. Police observed a Dodge Durango driving 10 miles per hour go off the roadway three times. The driver, Amy V. Johnson, 309 E. Main St., Mentone, was found to be under the influence. In the squad car she kicked a printer damaging the printer.
- 8:13 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 4900 block North CR 175E, Leesburg. Kacie M. Wallace notified police regarding an incident.
- 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 3700 block East Forest Glen Avenue, Leesburg. Scott Campbell reported a fraud.
- 2:52 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 500 block Harbour Landing Drive, Syracuse. Penny L Karr reported a theft of a wallet, cellular phone and vehicle registration. Value: $300.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 700 block South Lakeside Drive, Syracuse. Jeff Galloway, Main Channel Marina, reported a window broken and numerous items taken and boat covers vandalized. Value: $15,260. Additionally Tom Finlinson, Hoosier Hot Rods, 107 N. Hickory St., reported his business broken into and item taken and the interior of a trailer damage, value: $319.15; Randy Niles, 306 N. Turkey Creek Lane, reported damage to the front entrance door of his warehouse, value: $600; and Brad Schults, North Hickory Lane, reported a boat cover damaged, value $700.
- 5:05 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 200 block W. Boston Street, Syracuse. Ethel M. Hughes reported a criminal mischief matter.
- 5:58 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 400 block North Main St., Syracuse. Dustin Hinen reported a burglary.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 3:56 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2300 block East Center Street, Warsaw. Vape Street, Bernice Phifer reported four males entered the business and stole a vision spinner and smoke ADC. Value $35.98
- 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 500 block South Indiana Street, Warsaw Charles F. Boring reported criminal mischief to his vehicle.
