Arrests Made In Marshall County
MARSHALL COUNTY — Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Bourbon Police arrested four individuals over the weekend.
Bourbon Police arrested Ronald M. Schlemmer, age and address unknown, early Sunday morning on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger stopped a Chevrolet van for driving left of center on Lincoln Highway, west of Fir Road. Schlemmer was found to have been drinking and failed a field sobriety tests. A certified test resulted in his blood alcohol content at .20 percent. A cash bond of $1,500 was set.
A 911 call at 2:17 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, resulted in the arrest of Richard Thomas Nix, 37, Bremen, who was booked on initial charges of battery resulting in bodily injury in the Marshall County Jail on the initial charges. Marshall County Police received the 911 call of a report of a physical disturbance at the Sea Lane Apartments, 3102 Sea Lane, Lake of the Woods. Upon arrival officers investigated a battery that had occurred.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ernesto Reyes-Esquival, 34, Dallas, Texas, for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. At 1:19 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, police stopped Esquival’s vehicle in a traffic stop on US 30, near Fir Road. Esquival was found not have ever received a license. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on US 31, in the area of Plymouth-Goshen Trail at12:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. The driver of the vehicle, Nason Hamilton III, 25, Indianapolis, was found to have a suspended license, be in possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was booked for driving while suspended with prior; possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangering.
