Nappanee Man Arrested For Auto Theft
MARSHALL COUNTY — A 26-year-old Nappanee man has been arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a sawed-off shotgun. He has been booked in the Marshall County Jail.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department obtained information today, Thursday, Nov. 5, that Sanders was causing a problem at an address in the 19000 block of 3B Road, within Marshall County. Officers responded to the area and located Sanders.
It is believed Sanders was also in possession of a stolen vehicle, which had been reported stolen to the Bremen Police Department. When Sanders was located, the stolen 1995 Chevrolet Blazer was located. Also located was a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a sawed-off shotgun.
