Lillian Margretta ‘Marg’ Snow
Lillian Margretta “Marg” Snow of Warsaw, passed away at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, surrounded by family at her son’s residence in Winona Lake, at the age of 91.
She was a 1942 graduate of St. Joseph High School in St. Joseph, Mo. She resided most of her life in Grant City, Mo. Marg had lived in Texas for four years prior to moving to Warsaw in 2006.
She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Marg was born on Sept. 13, 1924, in St. Joseph, Mo. to Oscar Kirschner and Lillian (Vaughn) Kirschner. On April 15, 1944, she was married to Charles C. Snow, who passed away in 2002.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Tom (Diane) Snow, Winona Lake; two grandchildren: Craig (Sherri) Snow, Warsaw; Bill (Eva) Snow, Holland, Mich.; five great-grandchildren: Tyler; Kahler; Chole; Ana; and Sarah. Also surviving is her brother: Bud Kirschner, Chicago; and her sister: Phyllis Strain, Gainsville, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at Grant City, Mo. She will be buried in Grant City Cemetery in Grant City, Mo.
