Though November brings with it cold weather, Thanksgiving planning, and for some, early Christmas shopping, the public is invited to take a moment to warm up and relax in Warsaw during November’s First Friday.

Though the weather may be nippy, guests are able to warm up with a sampling of various chilis during the annual chili cook-off. The event, held from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, will allow guests to vote on their favorite flavors by utilizing pennies to vote. In addition to naming a crowd favorite, guest judges will also select their favorite chili.

Entertainment will be provided by the Warsaw Community High School Theater Department, who will perform glimpses from “The Sound Of Music” an upcoming play the students are working on.

Vendors, food and family fun will be bountiful at the event. November’s First Friday is brought to you by the Dane and Mary Louise Miller Foundation and the City of Warsaw.
