UPDATE: One Person Injured Friday At Tiger Lane Accident
WARSAW — One driver suffered a laceration to his head, requiring stitches, following a two-vehicle accident at 7:38 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16. The accident was at Fisher Avenue and Tiger Lane, Warsaw.
Scott E. Powell, 40, East Center Street, Warsaw, sustained minor bleeding to his head. He was extricated from the vehicle by Warsaw/Wayne Fire Department and transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by Lutheran EMS – Kosciusko.
Warsaw Police Officer Jordan Roberts reports Powell was eastbound on Tiger Lane in his 2001 Chrysler, stopped at the stop sign and waited for traffic to clear before turning left onto Fisher Avenue. He told police he thought the roadway was clear and began turning onto Fisher Avenue when his vehicle collided with a 2002 Ford truck driven by Michael R. Marsh, 33, East Clark Street, Warsaw.
Marsh, who was southbound on Fisher Avenue, was not injured.
Damage was estimated up to $2,500.
