Community Can Support Small Business Saturday
WARSAW — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and Warsaw Community Development Corporation will again participate in Small Business Saturday event as a Neighborhood Champion.
The event is set for Saturday, Nov. 28. This year, people can show support by taking selfies at participating businesses. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Below are three ways local small businesses can participate:
Think of a unique selfie for people to take at your business on Small Business Saturday. Have fun with your ideas. Try anything from getting your entire staff in a picture to showcasing an item your business is known for. You can also write the name of your business on the “I #ShopSmall at…” sign you receive and ask people to include it in their photos. Click here to download the sign.
Click here to fill in a poster with your businesses’s social media information, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Hang the poster to remind people to tag your business in their selfies on Small Business Saturday.
A third opportunity is a table tent available here. Place it next to your register as another way to remind shoppers about the event.
