Taste And Trade, Something For Everyone
WINONA LAKE — The Taste & Trade Expo 2015 is underway at the Manahan Orthopedic Capital Center at Grace College, 610 Wooster Road, Winona Lake.
The expo opened at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Oct. 9, and will continue until 7 p.m. The expo will continue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.
Businesses from retail, services, manufacturing and not-for-profit are showing off products and services. Food samples from the area’s caterers and restaurants are available. There are 10 food exhibits, along with rest areas, plenty of give-a ways and opportunities to register for door prizes.
To add to the fun there is entertainment. Captain Bob Barnes and Gentle Winds Trio performed during the opening morning. Still on tap will be the Kosciusko County Extension Chorus from 5:15-5:45 p.m. and the Michele Payton Band from 6:30-7 p.m. Saturday’s entertainment includes Suzuki Strings from 10-10:45 a.m. Lee Ann Stewart’s Dance School from 11:15 a.m. to noon, and Deb Colliers School of Dance from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Make sure to pick up your Expo Passport for a chance to win a $250 gift card to Meijer and other great prizes by visiting specific booths and having the passport punched. Then before you leave, complete the registration information vote for your best food booth and best non-food booth.
General admission is $5, seniors and students (with identification) are $3 and children 12 and under are free. Parking is also free.
The event is organized by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
