Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:21 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, West Bell Drive west of North Biomet Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert E. Jones, 57, North CR 700E, Roann, and Miriam Salazar, 40, Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw. As Jones proceeded through a two-way stop sign, Salazar’s oncoming vehicle collided with his. Damage up to $5,000.
4:49 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, West Hoppus Road east of South CR 50W, Warsaw. Driver: Keenan P. Creightney, 17, West Hopus Road, Warsaw. Creightney swerved to miss an animal and ran into a fence, a lawn roller and a plow, pushing the plow into a nearby barn door. Damage up to $10,000.
8:04 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, West SR 25 south of South CR 1000W, Mentone. Drivers: Tracy J. Richards, 30, North Franklin Street, Mentone, and Ronnie D. Denny, 58, North CR 600E, Twelve Mile. Richards’ vehicle crossed center and collided with a horse trailer that Denny’s vehicle was pulling. Richards’ vehicle then rolled over into a field. Damage up to $10,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, SR 15 north of Syracuse Street, Milford. Drivers: Brandon J. Rowe, 29, North CR 575W, Winamac, and Geoffrey R. Payne, 46, Nutmeg Meadows Drive, Plymouth. While Rowe was backing into a parking lot, his vehicle collided with Payne’s. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:54 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, East Epworth Forest Road and North CR 875E, North Webster. Driver: Jazmyne L. Gaylord, 19, EMS W30 Lane, North Webster. While going around a curve, Gaylord lost control of her vehicle, which went down and embankment and hit a utility pole. A passenger in Gaylord’s vehicle, Tabitha S. Dove., 18, East Himes Street, North Webster, was treated for minor bleeding to her face. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:07 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, Anchorage Road east of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Cynthia K. Lantz, 52, North Camelot Trail, Milford, and Ruth E. Bond, 62, South CR 500W, Silver Lake. As Bond was slowing her vehicle down to make a turn, Lantz’s vehicle rear-ended it. Damage up to $5,000.
12:57 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2400 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Mary J. Harrell, 54, West Old Road 30, Etna Green, and Jeannene Oliver, 54, West Wayne Street, Pierceton. While stopped at near drive-through window, Harrell became distracted and lifted off the brake and her vehicle rear-ended Oliver’s. Damage up to $1,000.
9:28 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, East Smith Street west of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers; Gina L. Voelz, 51, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw, and Brooke N. Rhodes, 18, East CR 500S, Warsaw. While stopped at a stop sign, Voelz became distracted and rear-ended Rhodes’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
6:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, Lake City Highway and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Lloyd D. Miller, 51, North Main Street, Bourbon, and Jacob J. Feece, 23, East Ivy Boulevard, New Carlisle. Approaching a yellow light, Miller’s vehicle rear-ended Feece’s vehicle, which had stopped. Damage up to $10,000.
