Presidential Proclamation Flags At Half-Staff Until Sundown Today
UNITED STATES — President Barack Obama issued a proclamation late last week for all flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims in the shooting at Umpqua Community College, Roseburg, Ore., on Oct. 1. Nine people were killed, more than 20 injured.
Flags are to be flown at half-staff until sunset today, Tuesday, Oct. 6.
While not a presidential proclamation, the flying of flags at half-staff, is also fitting to honor the lives of four prominent Warsaw residents, who died in a tragic plane crash on Friday, Oct. 2.
