BOURBON – Triton again received a full effort from its varsity roster to get the job done against Winamac Monday evening, winning 3-0 at the Trojan Trench.

Triton moved to 12-10 overall with a 25-22, 25-13, 25-18 win against the visitors and 5-2 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.

Quinn Downing provided the defense with 17 digs to lead Triton and added a pair of aces for good measure. Hannah Wanemacher had 14 assists and five digs while Emma Ross tossed in eight digs and an ace.

Nicole Sechrist had her cannon working, hammering 11 kills and also dug 11 attempts. Jaela Meister added nine digs and five kills.

Triton’s JV lost in two to Winamac 25-21, 25-17.

Up next for the Trojans is an appearance at Saturday’s Dunes Club Tournament.
