WARSAW — Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts and Goodwill will host the Little Black Dress Fashion Show at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Wagon Wheel, Warsaw. They are partnering with WSBT-TV and WAWC-FM / Willie 103.5 to raise funds in support of Wagon Wheel’s Access to the Arts for Children and Goodwill’s Mission.
Models will walk the runway in clothing from Goodwill showcasing the latest fashion trends. Kathy Friend, nationally known as a stylist and image consultant and president of the Style and Image Institute, will produce and host the program. Joining her will be emcee, Leanne Tokars, WSBT-TV morning anchor. Celebrity models, Matt Rudkin, WSBT-TV meteorologist and Teri Armstrong, Willie 103.5’s news director/morning cohost, will showcase Goodwill fashion on the runway.
Warsaw Mayor, Joe Thallemer, Rudkin and Warsaw Schools Superintendent, Dr. David Hoffert, will compete in a light-hearted, “Who Wore it Best,” feature. Guests can bid in a silent auction of designer fashions and accessories and shopping in the Goodwill Boutique, complete with dressing rooms to find that perfect outfit. The boutique will open at 12:30 p.m. and the fashion show will begin at 2 p.m.
For those who cannot make the entire afternoon, doors open for lunch at 12:30 p.m. or guests can come for the fashion show and stay afterwards to shop. The boutique will stay open until 4:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon. Tickets are $25 and are available at the Wagon Wheel Box Office or online. For more information, call: (574) 267-8041 or (866) 823-2618.
