Kenneth Daniel Germann, 97, of Bremen, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.

Kenneth was born on Jan. 23, 1918, the son of Daniel and Anna (Wuthrich) Germann. On Feb. 18, 1950, he married Mary E. Widup. She passed away on Feb. 11, 2003.

He is survived by three children: Kathleen Germann, Bremen; Marian (Bill) Steffen, New Haven; and Richard (Melli) Germann, Rolling Prairie; five grandchildren: Chris Steffen; Tad Germann; Tia Germann; Devyn Germann; and Tayler Germann. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Ben; Cal; and Johne. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and four siblings: Harold; Bob; Florence; and Mildred.

Ken was a 1936 graduate of Madison Township High School and was a member of the Boys Basketball St. Joe County Tournament Championship team his senior year. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and a member of the St. Joe County Dairy Association, while raising registered Guernsey Cattle. He also was a member of the Bremen Bible Church and an avid reader.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Bremen Bible Church, Bremen. Rev. Dr. Duane Beals will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
