NASA Pays $18,000 To Lay In Bed
Last year, Drew Iwanicki was paid $18,000 in 70 days. NASA had put out an advertisement for a study on bedrest that made its way to Reddit. Iwanacki saw the ad and applied one day, think nothing of it. NASA, however, responded fairly swiftly, and soon, Iwanacki was lying on his back and getting paid $10 an hour.
The study focused on the effects of bed rest on the body, and forced Iwanacki to lie on his back for 70 days straight. Iwanicki was the 55th and last participant in the study that had around 25,000 applicants.
