Motorcyclist Injured In Accident
SYRACUSE — A motorcyclist, who police say was traveling at an unreasonable speed for conditions, was taken to IU Health Goshen following an accident Tuesday afternoon, Sept 8. The accident was north of Syracuse on CR 29 at CR 52.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department reports Bobby Edwards, 28, Syracuse, was driving his 2003 Yamaha northwest on CR 29 at CR 52 when the motorcycle went off the east side of the road. The motorcycle collided with a wire fence. Edwards was ejected from the motorcycle during the collision.
He complained of pain to his right hip, back and neck. Police report he was not wearing a helmet.
Edwards was cited for speed unreasonable for conditions and no insurance.
