Etna Green Town Council Meeting
ETNA GREEN — The Etna Green Town Council meeting had few items to address Tuesday, Sept. 8, but what was discussed was very important.
The only thing motioned and approved was that a lawyer would be contacted in order to send a letter to the owner of lot 22 in Etna Green. The trailer, which was ordered to be cleaned and gotten rid of last month, is still standing.
The tenant living there has contacted the council, but nothing has been done yet to remove the plastic outer covering. The council is worried that the owner will be liable for anything that happens on the tenant’s property, so they want to get it taken care of as soon as possible.
If the tenant cannot do something about it before the date specified by the lawyer, it will be turned over to the health department.
The council also directed the parks manager to take down the deaf child sign in town.
The next Etna Green Town Council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
