Volleyball Teams Enjoy Sweep Over Westview

Both the seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams found the path to victory Thursday night.

Wawasee’s eighth grade team downed Westview 25-17, 25-19 thanks to Elizabeth Kleopfer’s eight serving points and 13 attack assists from Jadison Rostochak.

The seventh graders also beat Westview, winning in three sets. Emma Dippon led the team in the first set with eight serving points. Delaney Hare added seven points in the second set to lead Wawasee. Wawasee won the third set 15-12 with Hare scoring another six points.

Wawasee will host Milford next Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

JV Boys Soccer Falls At Goshen

The Wawasee JV boys team lost at Goshen 4-0. The varsity will play Goshen on Sept. 24.
