WARSAW – The Warsaw girls cross country team checks in at No. 4 in this week’s coaches’ poll.

Coach Scott Erba’s team collected a pair of big Northern Lakes Conference wins at home Tuesday night over Northridge and NorthWood. Northridge is ranked No. 17 in the IATCCC poll.

Penn is No. 18 in the girls’ poll. LaPorte is No. 18 and East Noble is ranked No. 23.

The LaPorte boys team is the only area squad ranked as the Slicers are at No. 13 this week.

Carmel is ranked No. 1 in both polls.
