Indiana Arts Commission Looking For Artists
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Arts Commission is seeking a Hoosier artist to create three to five editions of a unique artwork to serve as the award for the 2015 Governor’s Arts Awards, which will be held in April 2016.
The final product is expected to:
- Embody a standard of excellence
- Incorporate material from the Constitution Elm tree (provided by the Indiana Arts Commission)
- Be a weight/scale that is easily handled and presented by one person
Submissions are being accepted through callforentry.org. The deadline to submit application materials is 4:30 p.m. Sept. 15. The selected applicant will be notified in October and the fabrication of the awards must be completed by March 1, 2016.
