Ancilla Hosting Annual Blueberry Bicycle Cruise

DONALDSON — The Ancilla Alumni Association, in association with the annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival, will host the 25th annual Blueberry Bicycle Cruise, with registration beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Menominee Elementary School, 815 Discovery Lane, off of Nutmeg Road, Plymouth.
Riders may begin as early as 7 a.m., though registration lasts until 11 a.m. All riders must finish by 4 p.m.
Routes will be available covering 31, 41 or 62 miles plus a family tour of 16 miles to the Chief Menominee Monument. Maps to the starting point will be available upon request.
The event is one of several that take place during Marshall County’s annual Blueberry Festival, held over Labor Day weekend. The Blueberry Bicycle Cruise will take place rain or shine, so participants are encouraged to be prepared with proper clothing. Wearing of an approved helmet is mandatory. Food, drinks and fruit will be available at the various support and gear stops along the routes.
