USA Softball Teams To Play In Topeka
TOPEKA – Some of the top slow pitch softball talent in the country will be on display to area fans come Aug. 21.
The ASA/USA National Slow Pitch Team, along with the USA Futures Team, will play three exhibition games at East Park in Topeka.
The USA Futures Team will play a Topeka All-Star team, made up of current players in the Topeka league, in the first game at 6 p.m. The USA National Team will then play another Topeka All-Star team, made up of former players from the Topeka league, at 7:30. The pair of USA teams will then face each other in the final game at 9.
Faron Miller, a native of Goshen, is a pitcher for the USA Futures Team.
Admission to the games is $10 for adults and $30 for a family package. Children under the age of nine will be admitted for free.
