Patricia Marie Perkins, 72 of Ligonier, passed away at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in her residence.

On June 19, 1943, she was born in Churubusco, to Marvin and Florence (Deck) Rollins. She was united in marriage to Norman Lester Perkins on Feb. 14, 1975, in Churubusco, whom preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1988.

Patricia was a resident of Pierceton until 1989. She retired from Dana Weatherhead after twenty nine and a half years of service. She loved to sew, making outfits for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons: David Perkins, Warsaw; William (Jane) Helblig, Warsaw; Randy (Heidi) Helblig, Ligonier; and Todd (Debbie) Perkins, Warsaw; five daughters: Kay Perkins, Warsaw; Denise (Duck) Jackson, Warsaw; Patti (companion George Cox Jr.) Litherland, Sturgis, Mich.; Lauretta Helblig, Fort Wayne; and Bobbie Jo Perkins, Warsaw; two brothers: Clyde Rollins, Churubusco; and Edwin Rollins, Warsaw; 33 grandchildren; and 34 grandchildren.

Patricia was also preceded in death by two sons: James W. Perkins; and Norman E. Perkins; her granddaughter: Aurora Shoemaker; and nine brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, in the Pierceton funeral chapel.
