Juveniles Arrested For Burglary

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded yesterday at 4:45 p.m. to a residence in the area of the 200 block of Hunter’s Ridge, Warsaw, regarding a burglary.
Officers were advised the homeowner arrived at the residence and discovered it had been ransacked, along with several items taken, which included cash, electronics and a 9mm handgun.
Deputies were able to ascertain information from the scene that led them to a location in the 700 block of Warbler Lane, Warsaw. Officers were able to locate evidence that then guided them to the Hide-Away-Hill Mobile Home Park, 2441 West CR 250 S, Warsaw, where two teenaged juveniles were taken into custody.
Deputies stated during the course of the investigation, they were able to locate the stolen handgun and other items associated with the original burglary.
The juveniles arrested were taken to the Pierceton Woods Academy by deputies under the authority of the Kosciusko County Probation Department.
