SYRACUSE — Syracuse Church of God will hold an open house from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, to take registrations for the Syracuse-Wawasee Vacation Bible School planned for Aug.t 3-7. The open house will give parents an opportunity to register their children, talk with the VBS director and volunteers, and learn about the many fun activities their children will experience.

Free snow cones will also be available.

Located at 104 E. Washington St., the Syracuse Church of God is hosting this year’s community-wide Vacation Bible School sponsored by the Syracuse-Wawasee Ministerial Association along with Calvary United Methodist Church, St. Andrews United Methodist Church, and Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.

This year’s theme is “Everest – Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power.” All community children ages three through fifth grade are invited to attend each evening 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 3-7.
