BPA Heads Into Championship Rounds
WARSAW – It’s all on the line Saturday.
The Baseball Players Association World Series will culminate Saturday with championship round games after Friday’s action set up what should be a fantastic finals of the 10U and 13U tournaments.
In the 10U bracket, the AWP Cubs Blue (Fort Wayne) will take on the New Haven Bulldogs Black in a noon tilt to decide what team is guaranteed a finals spot. There are still get-back games to be played, but the winner will be assured a spot in the championship game.
Same goes with the 13U bracket, as the LaPorte Sluggers will look to continue to mash the ball as it will face the Granger Cubs in a noon tilt. The same is on the line with the big kids, a win at noon will assure one of the two teams a spot in the finals.
Teams from seven states are in Warsaw for the tournament, to which the BPA hosts tournaments all summer long. For more information on the BPA, visit their website. For complete bracket scoring, find the CCAC bracket page for the BPA tournaments.
